Who do you work with?
We focus on owner-operated contractors, trades, and home-service businesses — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, general contracting, and similar work. We are not a generic small-business firm.
Are you virtual?
Yes. Golden Bear Bookkeeping is based in Orange, California, and works remotely.
What’s the difference between monthly bookkeeping and catch-up?
Monthly bookkeeping keeps you current. Catch-up brings past months forward. Many clients need both to start, then stay on monthly.
Do you use QuickBooks Online?
Yes. We help with setup, cleanup, and ongoing bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online.
Do you prepare taxes?
Tax preparation may be available as a separate service. It is not automatically included in monthly bookkeeping. We’ll clarify that on your estimate.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is custom, based on transaction volume, accounts, cleanup need, and complexity. Start with the bookkeeping estimate.
Do you integrate with Jobber or Housecall Pro?
We can work with exports and reports from tools like Jobber or Housecall Pro. We do not claim a native integration.
